The settings are well organized and user friendly, but this does not translate into a good platform for the end user since the interface is very different from other Windows versions. This gives the user the ability to launch any app from anywhere at anytime and run all of them on the new Windows RTM platform. It is difficult to upgrade to Windows RTM since most service updates do not arrive in time. MS usually releases Service Packs once a month but that becomes too much for the developers who use MS tools. Developers can also expect that Windows Updates, which will be coming after the RTM release, will force them to go back to the older version of Windows that still has rollback capabilities.
