At the time of writing this article there are still 867,000 Windows systems that use the Windows Ie8 Navigation Failure Database, and are not using the latest Windows drivers or system software. To date, Microsoft has released an update to fix the problem, but has failed to provide any technical support, or any assurance that future updates will solve the problem. All in all, as a potential customer of Microsoft products, I do not recommend purchasing any new hardware or software, based on this issue. As a business, it is vital that you know all the potential pitfalls associated with the software and hardware and can be held responsible for any loss of data that occurs as a result of the software.
