This problem is usually caused by a corrupt registry which is the most common cause of various computer errors, and hence, should be fixed as soon as possible. In order to repair your system, you should perform the following steps:

Firstly, you should restart your Windows Computer and then you should run a scan by running « regedit » or by using « cmd » utility. After that, you can make sure that all the errors on your PC are being corrected and your hard drive is correctly working. To do that, you can search for the registry file « regedit.exe » and then delete it and reboot your computer.
