It is a strange paradox that on one hand Microsoft keeps its Windows XP users’ computers at risk of attack, while at the same time it will not release a fix for the Windows Vista Windows Error Code of XXXX. In fact, we have to wonder how many people actually use the support information provided by Microsoft when they buy a new computer, or how many computers have seen hundreds of people purchasing new PCs after the XP version came out? But if Windows XP comes out of support in April, will there be any way to modify Xp Local Security Policy? The answer is a resounding « NO » and no we will never see a way to do this.

When a computer is fully patched and security repaired, there is no way to add or remove files from the system without re-programming the system and risking the security of the machine. Therefore, if you want to use the Microsoft Vista version of the Windows OS on your computer, you need to purchase a new machine with the latest OS and then run the program from there. Microsoft has done this before by releasing patches, but has still failed to add this Windows Error Code to the box of the Windows Vista to let the buyer know of the vulnerability of the OS and the way in which it is currently used. If the browser embedded in the OS has been patched then you should be able to go to your anti-virus software and update it. However, that way it may also keep your computer from receiving updates, which are needed for a number of reasons such as a new security patch being released, if you have a new machine that is running Windows XP then there is the option of using a new computer with the latest version of Windows, but there are still some computers that cannot receive any new updates, so the only other option is to purchase a new machine with the latest version of Windows.

From Microsoft’s perspective there is no incentive to provide any assistance for users who cannot get help from the Support section in their website. With Windows Vista, if you choose to use a new machine, which is a new machine without any XP installed, then it will not receive any updates from Microsoft. Microsoft doesn’t care whether you get updates or not, this is their money making strategy of maintaining Windows XP as a Microsoft monopoly. But if you purchase a new computer with the latest version of Windows, then it can receive updates, and you can add, remove, or change some files without needing Microsoft to help you. In fact, if you visit Microsoft’s Support page, you will notice that it redirects you to the Windows Update site instead of providing assistance for Xp Local Security Policy errors.
