Is there a way to use the Microsoft Windows registry to unlock Bitloker via CMD? Most likely not as I believe all the word out there is either a cheap knock off or just complete BS. Yes, you can use the registry to unlock Bitloker via CMD but not without knowledge. So what is the « registry » and what exactly is it used for anyway?

To put it simply, the registry is the central storehouse of settings for Windows and its applications. It stores all your hardware configurations for your operating system. As such it is an extremely important part of Windows and keeps Windows running at top condition. You might have heard of registry cleaner software but don’t know how to actually use it to clean the registry. That’s OK – there are plenty of free trials available online that will allow you to test the registry cleaner and get a feel for how it works before committing to a subscription for the full version.

Locking Bitloker requires you to have access to the command line, otherwise known as the windows command line. In this case, we’re talking about the registry, but the command line is also where you can edit various programs, make backup copies of your registry and perform backups on a regular basis. As such it is a perfect place to store sensitive files and information. As a result the registry is a key part of any Windows install and can provide the power to unlock Bitloker via CMD.
