When you first install the software, it will try to detect the updates of the required programs. This could be caused by an issue with the computer or just a simple software issue, where the developer used to run the update manually but did not update the application. With newer versions of Windows this problem can be avoided by using the Start Menu – Options -> Control Panel – Add / Remove Programs and removing all applications with the same name as the one you are trying to remove. You might have also installed several programs at the same time on your PC. A side effect of using this method is that the application will be completely removed and the data stored in it will be deleted.
If this is happening to you then you need to find out the reason why these computer errors are occurring and if possible try to eliminate any of the causes such as viruses, malware or registry file errors. If you have done this then you might still find the update not installing on the Windows Update function, which will cause the software to restart again.
