Windows XP is a very old operating system, which no longer has the customer support the Microsoft needs. It will take them a long time to get it to run and be more like they used to have when Windows Vista was launched. It can’t run anti-virus programs, it doesn’t have the best graphic user interface, it doesn’t run as fast as Vista and doesn’t allow Windows Firewall or SmartScreen to work. This means that if you want to use Windows XP as your standard operating system then you will be stuck using a Microsoft product for the rest of your life.

Windows 7 is new, but it is also different. It has a very modern user interface that can be changed easily with a simple click, and the browser is much easier to use. You can add multiple accounts to Windows 7, and access the Internet in multiple places through the built in HotSpot technology. There are many other things that make Windows 7 very similar to Vista, such as the ability to create and password protect documents and folders, and it can be connected to your desktop over the USB connection, and share your file between multiple computers easily.

In fact Microsoft has not improved on their systems one bit, but they have added some new features that are very useful. You can use the built in help for any Windows system with no problem, and a lot of this software is free or at least available at a very low cost. If you want to use Windows 7 then this is the way to go, but if you want to use a clean Microsoft product then this is the only way to go.
