On the support site they state that to be able to delete emails on a windows operating system, you need to click on « A: Deleted Items » located at the top left of the Control Panel window. Clicking on this button gives you options for how to delete it. The best option is to « Delete the following items and folders: All on the computer. » Clicking on this option deletes all messages stored in the Recycle Bin.

However, as stated earlier, when you click on the « Delete the following items and folders » button, it deletes the messages stored in the Recycle Bin of the machine’s recycle bin. If you are using the Windows XP operating system, then it does not have this option available to delete the Recycle Bin of the computer. Therefore, Microsoft has offered a way to delete the Recycle Bin by using one’s built-in computer to do so.

Your computer is equipped with a feature known as « Go to Recycle Bin. » It has been programmed in by default to automatically go to the Recycle Bin after a program is uninstalled. Therefore, it is possible to delete messages stored in the Recycle Bin by use of a built-in program or by using the shortcut keys. Just enter the name of the Recycle Bin in the Start Menu search box, and it will bring up the option to delete the contents of the Recycle Bin. Therefore, deleting an email message stored in the Recycle Bin would be a lot easier than if one needed to delete it manually.
