Microsoft is about to release an update that will force the use of the Support in the WMI namespace, specifically the wscutil.dll and wbemui.dll in System32. This update will not affect the functions that you currently use, but will force the use of the WMI namespaces where ever you use Windows. If you see that Windows is reporting that it cannot find the Windows Script Host32.dll, Windows may be trying to use the WMI namespace instead. We recommend that you delete the Windows scripthost.dll file from the System32:

    Sincerely, [redacted]

My advice is to completely remove the wscutil.dll file from the System32, as if you do not, this will cause all sorts of problems and make it impossible to work with Windows Script Host, the Windows Script Host. One such issue can be causing Windows to report that it cannot find the Windows Script Host32.dll in the registry, making it impossible to execute commands like « cscript.exe » and even « startup.exe ». Once you remove the wscutil.dll from System32, your computer should run much smoother and reliably.
