    Microsoft and Support are in agreement that there is an issue with windows Live Mail. MS Windows Live Mail and MS Exchange Message not work together. Microsoft and Support are currently in the process of addressing the issues. The program itself is a Microsoft Outlook for the Windows operating system. The problem is mainly related to how the Microsoft Exchange Server processes messages from MS Windows Live Mail when using Microsoft Exchange.

    Microsoft has no plans to make changes or adjustments to the way that MS Windows Live Mail works. They do believe that they can provide a solution that will solve the issue. An investigation was started by the team at Microsoft. The goal of the investigation is to figure out how to get Windows Live Mail to work with MS Exchange Server. It has been determined that in order to get MS Windows Live Mail to work with Microsoft Exchange, there are some « invisible » alterations to the way the Microsoft Exchange server works. The team has identified several areas where an improvement needs to be made in order to get MS Windows Live Mail to work properly with Microsoft Exchange.

    There is a « minimizing taskbar » issue with MS Windows Live Mail. Microsoft and Support have developed a patch that will solve this issue. The developers of the patch have committed to having the new patch available to Microsoft and Support within one week of their initial discovery of the issue.
